It is reported that RINL has achieved a sales turnover of INR 6113 crores for the period of April to November 2009 and achieved sale of 1767000 tonnes of saleable steel during the period registering a growth of 35% over the corresponding period last year.
RINL’s emphasis on production and sale of value added steel products paid rich dividends. The Production of value added steel products during the period was 1492000 tonneregistering a growth of 3% and the sale of 1300000 tonnes during the period registered a growth of 34% over the corresponding period.
On the expansion front equipment erection of over 9000 tonne was carried out in the month of November 2009 which is the best achieved so far.
