China's Ministry of Commerce announced that it will impose temporary anti dumping measures against imports of carbon steel fasteners from the European Union.
China will implement a temporary anti dumping tariff on carbon steel fastner imports from the European Union beginning on December 28th 2009.
The report didn't detail what form the trade sanctions would take.
The announcement follows a decision by the World Trade Organization earlier in the week to investigate Chinese restrictions on the export of some raw materials, a move prompted by complaints from the EU, US and Mexico.
