JSW Steel said that its crude steel production more than doubled to 0.480 million tonnes in November. The company's production of crude steel was 0.215 million tonnes in the same month last year.
JSW Steel in a statement said that the production of rolled products increased 94% at 0.315 million tonnes in November this year from 0.162 million tonnes in the year ago period.
The output of rolled products rose by a steep 197% at 68000 tonnes this November from 23000 tonnes in the year ago period.
The company achieved 3.85 million tonnes of crude steel production cumulatively up to November in the current fiscal year, showing a growth of 52 per cent over corresponding period of the last year.
