POSCO CEO visits India to check on Indian projects

It is reported that on September 15th 2009, Mr Chung Joon yang CEO of PSOCO visited India, where the company plans to build an integrated steel mill.

As per report Mr Joon Yang met with several high ranking government officials in India, checked on the proceedings of the India project, and encouraged POSCO staff members to work harder.

During his stay, which will last until September 20, Mr Chung is to meet with Orissa’s chief minister, Union Minister of Steel Mr Virbhadra Singh and Minister for Mines Mr BK Handique to request India's active support for POSCO's mill construction project in the country.
