Mr PK Bishnoi CMD of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited formally launched the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning’ termed as “UKKU SANKALP” (Steely Resolve) in Visakhapatnam steel Plant at a function organized in T&DC auditorium.
Traditionally ERP signifies single transaction data base that is shared, updated and drawn upon by entire organization. This gives seamless integration and improves internal efficiencies within the organization.
Speaking on the Occasion, Mr Bishnoi complimented and congratulated the ERP team but cautioned that ERP is not magic or panacea for problems. Mr Bishnoi expressed confidence for the success of ERP in VSP for ‘VSP is situated in Andhra Pradesh and many successful software professionals are from Andhra Pradesh and VSP could set standards in implementing of business initiatives.
He said that “The success of ERP depends on the contribution that the potential users would make now how they would shape it for use.”
He asserted that implementation of ERP is a giant step forward that needs to be taken to enable company be in readiness to meet competition in the future.
