Cochin Shipyard IPO timing to be finalized

As part of the Government’s disinvestment plan, the Shipping Ministry is preparing for divestment in only one of its units Cochin Shipyard Ltd.

Mr APVN Sarma Secretary Shipping n the sidelines of a conference organised by ASSOCHAM said “We are prepared to divest 10% stake in Cochin Shipyard. Any timing for the process to begin is yet to be communicated.”

Mr Sarma without specifying any timeframe for it said that “Department of Economic Affairs has recommended for 10% disinvestment in coaching shipyards which was received by the Ministry only recently and has agreed for it.”
