State owned NTPC is expected to invest over INR 8,000 crore in Gujarat to commission a coal based project with a power generation capacity of 1,320 MW.
The investment might be scaled up to INR 10,000 crore if the power utility major gets desired resources for a project size of 1,980 MW.
