According to newly published figures from the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization, Iranian state owned miners exploited 28.93 million tonnes of run of mine iron ore and produced 23.24 million tonnes of iron ore in the first 11 months of the current Iranian year, showing little change YoY.
In the period in question, state owned miner Chador Malu produced 8.75 million tonnes of iron ore; Iran Central Iron Ore Company produced 6.60 million tonnes of iron ore while Gol e Gohar produced 4.82 million tonnes of iron ore. Additional volumes were produced by smaller state owned iron ore miners including East Iron Ore and Jalal Abad.
