TATA Power has posted a 40% YoY higher net profit at INR 141 crore for the third quarter of this fiscal, up from INR 101 crore in the same period last year, thanks to lower fuel expenditure and cheaper power from other sources.
The operating income was down by 12% YoY at INR 1,566 crore
