VBC Ferro Alloys board gives nod to merge Orissa Power Consortium

VBC Ferro Alloys said its board has given in principle approval for the merger of Orissa Power Consortium Ltd with itself.

Orissa Power Consortium in a filing to the BSE said that the board approved merger of Orissa Power Consortium Ltd with the parent company, which is also promoter of VBC and Ferro Alloys.

The filling added that the proposal is subject to the approvals from concerned authorities.
