The Sri Lankan government wants to rope in Mr Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Industries Ltd for exploration of oil in the island nation.
Mr Navin Dissanayake Sri Lankan Minister for Investment Promotion told reporters at a CII that “We are in talks with Reliance for petroleum exploration.”
Mr Dissanayake said that “We have identified couple of blocks exclusively for India adding that RIL has shown interest in the Sri Lankan oil fields.”
