BL reported that Indian government is likely to sell up to 5% in state owned power major NTPC Ltd before March 2010.
Mr RS Sharma CMD of NTPC on the sidelines of a power conference said that “The Government has decided to sell 4.75 to 5%. The timeframe for that is being worked out.”
He said that “The Government certainly wants it before March. We are awaiting the approval for this.”
