It is reported that Dongwu in Inner Mongolia raised its coal reserves by 38% from 22 billion tonnes to 20.3 billion tonnes. The future reserves will reach 58.2 billion tonnes.
Large coalfields include Gaolihan and Wunite with 12.6 billion tonnes and 6.5 billion tonnes reserves respectively. Four medium sized ones are Ehebaolige, Daotenaoer, Zhunhanaoer and Baiyinhubuer which have 4.3 billion tonnes, 2.8 billion tonnes, 1.75 billion tonnes and 1.1 billion tonnes reserves respectively. Two small ones are 974 million tonnes Aladabusi and 243 million tonnes Baolige.
