National Business Daily reported that Aluminum Corporation of China won approval from the Peruvian government to start work on the Toromocho copper mine in Peru.
Investment on the mine will total USD 2 billion to USD 2.5 billion.
Chalco acquired Toromocho copper mine in 2007 for USD 800
