Indian flat product price index up by 28 points

The Indian Long Product Price Index ILPPI went down by 7 points on August 31st 2010 whereas Indian Flat Product Price Index IFPPI went up by 28 points. The overall Indian Steel Price Index INDSPI went up by 9 points

Timken to increase prices on cold drawn tubing

The Timken Company announced that it will increase prices on cold drawn carbon and alloy seamless mechanical tubing by up to 30%, depending on the size and product specification.
