Slowdown signs - Russia wagon production dips

RZD Partner reported that the 4 month output of main locomotives increased 1.4% to come to 71 against prior year period. The wagons production declined 52.2% to 6,500; passenger cars down by 24.6% to 484; metro cars output rose 22.7% to 108.

Zaporizhia state titanium company deal with Chinese

Ukrainian Journal reported that Zaporizhia titanium magnesium mill state company, which is under the management of the Ukrainian Industry Ministry has agreed with representatives of Chinese companies to sign framework contracts for the supply of 200 tonnes of titanium plates by the end of 2009
